Built for Irish waters.

Built for Irish waters.

Irish Fly Rod Co. was created with a simple idea — to develop great fly rods for the waters we actually fish.

From small streams and wild trout loughs to powerful salmon rivers, every rod in our range is selected and developed with its intended fishing in mind.

We focus on what matters on the water: action, balance, feel and reliability.

No unnecessary gimmicks. Just well-designed fly rods, built to be fished.

Designed with purpose.

A fly rod should feel right from the first cast.

That means more than simply choosing a blank and putting our name on it. Length, line rating, action, components and balance all need to work together.

Whether we're developing a light trout rod for delicate presentation, an all-rounder for Irish lough fishing or a powerful double-handed salmon rod, each model has a job to do.

Our goal is simple: give the angler confidence in the rod in their hand.

From trout streams to salmon rivers.

Ireland gives fly anglers an extraordinary variety of fishing.

Small rivers. Wild loughs. Reservoirs. Spate rivers. Great salmon systems.

That variety shapes the Irish Fly Rod Co. range.

Rather than trying to make one rod do everything, we develop rods around the fishing they're actually going to encounter.

Trout. Salmon. Single hand. Double hand. Specialist rods.

Each one designed with a purpose.

Performance without the nonsense.

We believe a great fly rod doesn't need a complicated story.

It needs to cast well.

It needs to balance properly.

It needs quality components.

And when a fish finally takes, it needs to perform.

That's the standard we work towards with every Irish Fly Rod Co. rod.
